There are a few factors during pregnancy that may
affect a child’s behaviour according to a cohort study done by researchers on
the possible causes of ADHD. Though there are no accurate conclusions that will
ensure a 100% result on these activities, it has been found out that
circumstances and some activities of the parent during pregnancy can cause
advert effects on child’s behavior as they grown.
Physical effects may be more evident than that of
the behavioral since it is not easy to diagnose a child with behavioral problems at a very early age. These activities are listed as some of the
factors that can cause problems such as ADHD. The following are factors that can influence
an unborn child are the mother’s ages and educational background, parents with
psychological problems, smoking and drinking during pregnancy and the current
financial state of the parent.
It has been unclear whether the long term
consequences may affect child behavior but it subsequently shows increased
risk on the baby’s physical health. It
is crucial to observe a healthy lifestyle and environment during pregnancy. It is best to create an amicable psychological
and physical environment for unborn children as this is the time where
development is crucial. ADHD is manageable but being knowledgeable enough about
how to avoid this may give your child a better and brighter future.
