Overdue Babies Prone to ADHD

There have been studies made to find out the possibility of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder to children who were born after 42 weeks. A normal child birth should range between 37 and 42 weeks.

In the study conducted by researchers from Erasmus University, late-born children are more likely to have symptoms of ADHD. Also, it has been found out in observation from parents and research done by experts that overdue babies experience behavioral and emotional problems in their early childhood.

On the other hand, a significant number of parents who gave birth to overdue children were also more likely to report symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. However, this study has limitation as there are other factors that may lead to ADHD such as environment and parental care.
